Our Take

Grin is built for a specific type of company: DTC e-commerce brand, $5M+ in revenue, spending $200K+/year on influencer marketing, with a dedicated influencer team. If that's you, Grin is excellent — the Shopify integration, automated affiliate tracking, and creator payment workflows are genuinely differentiated.

For B2B tech startups, Grin is almost never the right call. The platform's e-commerce orientation means the discovery and performance metrics are optimized for product sales, not brand awareness or pipeline generation. B2B influencer programs (LinkedIn thought leaders, podcast sponsorships, YouTube creators in your vertical) need different workflows.

For B2B influencer programs, we use Modash for discovery and manage relationships manually or through a lightweight CRM. Grin's $2,500+/month fee isn't justified until you're managing 50+ creator relationships with complex affiliate tracking.
