Affordable enrichment API with strong real-time data — a rising Clay alternative source.
Datagma is the kind of tool that power users know about and most people don't. As a Clay integration, it's an excellent additional data source in enrichment waterfalls — we use it as a fallback when Apollo and Clearbit miss contacts, and it recovers a meaningful percentage of records at near-zero cost per lookup.
The real-time enrichment model is differentiated: unlike static database tools, Datagma queries live sources, which means data is often more accurate for fast-moving companies (recent job changes, new contact info). For outbound to hyper-growth startups where people change roles frequently, this matters.
We don't recommend Datagma as a primary data source, but as a component in a Clay waterfall or API pipeline, it earns its place. At $0.01–$0.05 per enrichment, the risk of testing it is effectively zero.
Technical teams building enrichment pipelines who want a cost-effective API source, particularly as part of a Clay waterfall.
We don't currently use Datagma in our standard stack. Based on our testing across 60+ startup engagements, we've found alternatives that better match most startups' needs and budget constraints. See our reviews of ZoomInfo, Clearbit, Lusha for this category.
