Conversion Rate

Conversion rate is the percentage of visitors or leads that take a desired action — filling a form, booking a demo, starting a trial. It's the efficiency metric of your funnel. A 2% landing page conversion rate means 98 out of 100 people you're paying to send to the page leave without converting. Even a 1 percentage point improvement on a high-traffic page can mean dramatically more pipeline at no extra ad spend.

Real-World Example

For example, if 1,000 people visit your demo landing page and 30 book a call, your conversion rate is 3% — improving that to 5% with better copy and a cleaner form gets you 50 demos with the same traffic budget.
